Last Saturday I was able to get the whole top layed out on the design board. Now all I have to do is sew all the tiny rectangles and squares together!
This is kind of a scrappy quilt, but I think it is really cute for a little boy. The rectangles are all different blue fabrics and the tiny squares are a mixture of all red fabrics. The bigger squares are off whites and WOW mixed with some tan.
This is my fifth baby quilt. I have had two ladies that have been keeping me in business. I have done two quilts already for the lady who asked for this one and I have done two quilts for the other lady. That lady has now asked for another quilt. I don't know if I'll be able to keep up! ☺
I have some pictures of the other baby quilts I have done.
The first baby quilt that I did I don't have digital pictures for, so I can't show you that one. But it was a pinwheel quilt with blue, yellow, and green fabrics.
This is baby quilt #2. It was for a girl and I used red, black, white, and green fabrics to match the nursery.
This is baby quilt #3. The nursery was a farm yard theme that used the colors in the quilt. The backing fabric was a barnyard print. This quilt was very easy to put together.
This is baby quilt #4 (the most recent one I finished). The lady wanted pastel colors that would work for either a boy or girl. I chose to use blue, yellow, and green.
Hopefully I will have more progress to show on baby quilt #5 soon (and better pictures ☺)!
Have a good weekend!!! ☺
